Yesterday, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency issued a memo outlining its ”Priorities for the Apprehension, Detention and Removal of Aliens” in the controversial Secure Communities program. The priorities outlined indicate a shift in focus from pre-conviction removals to post-conviction removals.

This is a ground breaking bill that will prohibit the DC Metropolitan Police from sharing arrest and booking information with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
